(Don) Mayberry of Barnesville grandchildren, Mark (Lori) Mayberry of Cambridge and Donna (Scott) Burga of Salesville two great-grandchildren, Chad (Kim) Burga and Eric Burga four great-great grandchildren: Parker, Connor, Brailey, and Lane sisters-in-law, Ellen Luyster and Betty Eddy and several nieces and nephews. Paul Edwin Bielenberg Sorensen (1891-1983), nurseryman and landscape gardener, was born on 16 December 1891 at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, seventh of eight. Paul is survived by his daughter, Linda C. was last seen in Khost City, Afghanistan, in mid-May of 2014, while conducting research in furtherance of a new self-authored book. Paul was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gale (Doris) Luyster, Ray Luyster, Howard Luyster and Dale Luyster He and Esther took many vacations together and enjoyed his retirement gardening and making crafts. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years whom he married on August 5, 1947, Esther Luyster who passed away on October 18, 2018. Then he also made butter ar Cloverland Dairy in Flushing where he retired in 1988. From there he worked at Garvins Dairy in Wheeling and made ice cream mix for Ziegenfelders. He started at the Med-o-rich Dairy, where he made cottage cheese and won 1st Place at the Ohio State Fair. Paul worked in the Dairy Business his whole life, said he loved every day of it. Paul was awarded the Purple Heart, Philippines Liberation Medal, WWII Victory Medal, three Bronze Stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon and was a sharp shooter. Paul served as PFC with the US Army during WWII with Company L, 19th Regimen, 24th Infantry Division and took part in the Battle of Leyte in the Philippines as well as the Battle of Mindanao, Luzon, Mindoro, and New Guinea. He was a member of the Cambridge Military Order of Purple Heart. ![]() Paul is a veteran of the United States Army where he served during World War II. ![]() ![]() Paul was a lifetime member of the Fairview Church of Christ.
